I am thrilled to announce that I will be relaunching PARTIMI with a fresh collection in the next few months. My little Arthur is now almost three (!) and it is high time I returned to the label I love.
To start the year off I will be holding a Studio Sale on the 3rd & 4th February at our home in East London. On offer will be some beautiful pieces from the Tresco Abbey Garden collection, a number of home textiles and accessories from the Partimi x Liberty collaboration, and a number of samples and newly made pieces from the Partimi archives.
Some pieces are available now to buy from our online Studio Shop so feel free to have a browse…
FIONA ESSEX x PARTIMI
Beautiful photography by the talented Fiona Essex during a visit to Kew Gardens. Blog post coming soon.
Inspired by the wild wave heathers and mesembryanthemums that blanket the coast of the Isles of Scilly, this contemporary floral print was created for Liberty Art Fabrics.
Available in four colours, PARTIMI ventures into the home with this first collection for interiors and printed home textiles.

Behind the label: Partimi
by Dervla Louli
1 December 2013
Who started it? London-based designer Eleanor Dorrien-Smith’s CV reads like a fashion encyclopaedia, encompassing such names as John Galliano, Mary Katrantzou and Eley Kishimoto. In 2009, the Central Saint Martins graduate launched Partimi and her first ready-to-wear collection was shown a year later at London Fashion Week, where her relaxed lines and remarkable prints received rave reviews. Sustainability and ethics are at the forefront of Dorrien-Smith’s creations.
Why we love it: ethical fashion has been hot news since Vogue released a list of the top eco-friendly designers in 2010. Partimi fits the bill while embodying effortless luxury that is flattering and easy to wear, showing that eco-warrior chic can be classic, too. The latest autumn-winter collection’s vivid hues and multidimensional prints – transferred onto silk by a printer in Sussex, Britain – reflect the designer’s idyllic childhood, which was spent reading books perched on cliffs in the Channel Islands. That sense of romance and nostalgia makes us fall in love with Partimi time and time again.
What we’d pick: the versatility of the Field Brancusi Top (far right; HK$2,950) makes it a standout piece this season. The print is dark and rich yet not overwhelmingly so, allowing the wearer to transition from day to night with ease. On a lighter note, the Book Modal Tee (right; HK$2,170) is smart, comfortable and chic. Pair it with shorts for a relaxed contemporary vibe or cigarette trousers to add a bit of an edge.
Where you can get it? Partimi is available at www.aboynamedsue.co.
